Endangered Tiger
Phantom FGR.2 XV404 awaits it’s fate at RAF Wattisham, Suffolk. Painted in this stunning Tiger scheme by 74 Sqn for Tigermeet ‘92 to mark the type’s retirement from service, any hopes of preservation ended when to comply with arms limitation treaties it was dismantled for scrap during April 1993.

Like Nothing Else
The World’s first jet airliner - De Havilland Comet prototype G-5-1, is prepared for it’s maiden flight from Hatfield Aerodrome in the hands of test pilot John Cunningham and his flight crew on Wednesday 27th July 1949.

HMCS Snowberry
HMCS Snowberry, a Flower Class Corvette completed in May 1941. Built in Canada originally for the Royal Navy, but instead loaned to the Royal Canadian Navy for the duration of the war. Nearly 300 Flower Class Corvettes were built during WW2.
